The Role
We’re looking for a senior Odoo implementation consultant who can take client projects from discovery through go-live and handoff. You’ll work directly with business stakeholders to translate their processes into Odoo configurations, guide customizations with our developers, and make sure the systems they rely on actually get used.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Odoo implementations, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, configuration, data migration, testing, training, and go-live support
- Configure core Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, and Projects to match client workflows
- Run discovery workshops with client stakeholders and document processes, requirements, and scope
- Write functional specifications for custom development and work with developers on technical requirements
- Manage UAT, prepare training materials, and deliver end-user training
- Handle post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Help manage scope and change requests with clients, including phase sign-offs
- Contribute to the reusable configurations and templates behind our vertical solutions
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience implementing Odoo, preferably Odoo Community Edition, with recent experience on Odoo 15 to 19
- Solid functional knowledge of at least two of: Accounting/Finance, Sales/CRM, Inventory/Warehousing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or HR
- Experience gathering requirements and managing client expectations in a consulting setting
- Ability to read basic Python/XML customization code and communicate effectively with developers
- Strong written and spoken Arabic and English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Comfortable working on-site in Cairo and traveling to client sites when needed
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once
Nice to Have
- Experience with Egyptian or Gulf accounting, tax, or compliance requirements (such as e-invoicing)
- Experience in one or more of our target verticals: construction, pharmacy, healthcare, government, or distribution
- Odoo certifications or a portfolio of past implementations
- Experience with project management tools and documentation practices
