This policy explains how ExtraMile Business Solutions ("ExtraMile", "we") handles the personal data we collect through extramile-egy.com and when you contact us.

Who is responsible for your data?

We comply with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations, and with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law issued by Royal Decree No. (M/19) and its Implementing Regulations, depending on which entity you deal with and where you live.

What data do we collect?

• Contact form: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional) and your message.
• Job applications: your name, email address, phone number, your CV and the information in it, and any extra answers in the application form.
• Correspondence: what you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, requested pages and time of the request in our server logs, for security and to prevent abuse.
• Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand how the website is used. It sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, kept for up to two years. We do not use advertising cookies.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in your message or CV.

Why do we use your data?

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.

Who do we share it with?

Only with the service providers we need to run the website and to reply to you, and only as far as needed: our hosting provider, our email service provider, and Google (for analytics). We may also disclose data when the law or a competent authority requires it.

Transfers outside Egypt and Saudi Arabia

Some analytics and email data may be processed on servers outside Egypt and Saudi Arabia. In those cases we rely on the safeguards that Egyptian law and the Saudi PDPL allow for such transfers.

How long do we keep it?

• Contact form messages and correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case contractual and statutory retention periods apply.
• Job applications and CVs: up to 12 months after you apply. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
• Server logs: up to 90 days.
• Google Analytics data: according to the retention setting of our account, and no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

Under the applicable law you can:

• know what data we hold about you and how we use it, and get a copy of it;
• ask us to correct, update or complete your data;
• ask us to delete or destroy your data when it is no longer needed;
• withdraw your consent at any time, object to the processing or ask us to restrict it;
• be told about any breach that affects your data.

To use any of these rights, email info@extramile-egy.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Center in Egypt, or to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) in Saudi Arabia.

Cookies and opting out of analytics

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works fully without them.

Security

We use an encrypted connection (HTTPS), limit access to personal data to the staff who need it, and protect the website forms against abuse. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
