E-invoicing compliance: ZATCA & Egyptian Tax Authority
We set up Odoo so your invoices meet the e-invoicing rules in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE.
ZATCA Phase 2 (Fatoora) integration in Odoo
In Phase 2, ZATCA clears B2B tax invoices in real time before they reach the buyer, and simplified invoices must be reported within 24 hours. We configure Odoo's Saudi localisation and ZATCA connector, onboard every branch and POS, and test before go-live.
Wave 25: SAR 187,500 threshold from 1 February 2027
Businesses whose VAT-taxable revenue exceeded SAR 187,500 in any year from 2022 to 2025 must integrate with the Fatoora platform from 1 February 2027.
Egyptian Tax Authority e-invoice and e-receipt
B2B and B2G e-invoices must be signed and sent to the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA), while sales to individuals go through the separate e-receipt system. We connect Odoo invoicing and POS to both.
UAE e-invoicing 2027 readiness
UAE e-invoicing becomes mandatory on 1 January 2027 for businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more, and on 1 July 2027 for other VAT-registered businesses, through an Accredited Service Provider (ASP).

What does an Odoo implementation with ExtraMile include?
Every implementation follows five steps: Discover, Design, Build, Launch and Support. We map your processes, agree the design and scope in writing, configure and develop Odoo, migrate your data, train your team and go live. After launch we stay on for support and improvements. We have used this method on 50+ projects since 2020.
How long does an Odoo implementation take?
Across our 50+ projects, a typical Odoo implementation takes 3 to 4 months from kickoff to go-live. A single-department rollout can take about 4 weeks; a multi-department implementation with customization and data migration typically takes about 5 months. The main factors are the number of departments, the amount of customization and the volume of data to migrate. We confirm the timeline in writing after a scoping workshop.

We migrate customers, suppliers, products, opening balances and open documents from spreadsheets, local accounting programs and other ERPs into Odoo, and we upgrade existing Odoo installations to newer versions. Data is cleaned and test-loaded before go-live, so your team checks the figures before the old system is switched off.
